Melanie Buen is a Registered Dental Hygienist with nearly 30 years of experience in the field of dentistry. She has been part of the Outer Banks community since the mid-1980s, growing up along its beautiful beaches and bringing that same warm, welcoming spirit to her work each day. Melanie’s extensive background includes caring for pediatric patients, treating periodontal disease, and helping individuals with dental anxiety feel comfortable during their visits. She is passionate about creating a positive, relaxed experience for every patient she meets.
Outside of the office, Melanie enjoys spending time at the beach and on the water, often accompanied by her beloved dog. She is also a proud mother of two boys and cherishes time spent with her family. Her local roots, compassionate care, and decades of experience make her a valued member of the team and a trusted partner in her patients’ oral health.
